News at Edmonton Exchanger [Sep 11] - Fabrication of large 6.5" thick, 93,000 pound Pressure Vessel Shell... We recently formed a 6.5" thick, 93,000 pound pressure vessel shell in our Monster Rolls steel plate rolling machine. The shell measured 126" I.D. and 121.25" long. Edmonton Exchanger is capable of rolling steel plate up to a 12" material thickness. Our five sets of plate rolls enable us to roll plate into shells, rolled rings, cones (both eccentric and concentric), and repads. These components can be fabricated from our own plate inventory or from customer supplied material. Go to Newsroom |
