Edmonton Exchanger's "Monster Rolls", our newest and largest steel plate rolling machine, is now fully operational.

The machine is one of the largest of its kind, and features the largest steel plate rolling capabilities in North America. It gives Edmonton Exchanger the ability to cold roll steel plate up to 7” thick, and hot roll steel plate up to an incredible 12” thick. Due to the large operating capacity of this machine, it has been dubbed the “Monster Rolls” by Edmonton Exchanger employees.

We are currently in the final stages of construction of the 16,000 square foot addition to one of our existing shops at our Main Plant to accommodate this large machine.

- Special Pressure Vessel Fabrication Project
Upon the special request of one of our Field Services clients, Edmonton Exchanger recently completed the fabrication of a large pressure vessel.

The job involved the design and manufacturing of custom flanged and flued expansion joints as specified by client process requirements. The expansion joints measured  58” diameter / 83” diameter, and were fabricated to +/- 1/8” tolerance.

The custom build experience gave us an excellent insight into what our typical clients encounter every day, and further strengthens our understanding of their needs in pressure vessel fabrication.
