Major Retrofit for Pressure Vessel Head Spinner

In a blend of old-world resilience and cutting-edge technology, Edmonton Exchanger’s Pressure Vessel Head Spinner is gearing up for a significant overhaul. Starting September 9th, the Spinner will undergo a transformative retrofit, merging its sturdy, overbuilt frame with advanced electronic controls, new hydraulic power unit (HPU), motors, and other mechanical components.

The machine is renowned for its capacity to make pressure vessel heads up to 28’-6″ I.D. and has been a cornerstone of our steel fabrication operations. This retrofit aims to further cement its status as the industry’s leading spinner machine, capable of spinning the most extensive one-piece heads.
