Polar Plunge in support of the Special Olympics of Alberta
This past weekend, Edmonton Exchanger took part in the Polar Plunge fundraiser in support of the Special Olympics of Alberta. Twenty four Edmonton Exchanger employees braved the cold and took the icy plunge into Lake Summerside to raise an astounding $27,675 towards this worthy cause.
We were proud to have representation from our Field Services employees including the Boilermakers, Labourers, Pipefitters and Quality Control from Imperial Oil and our Pipe Fabrication shop. In addition, we had staff participating from many other areas of the company including our Manufacturing Management, Sales, Shipping and our Shop Boilermakers. A total team effort!
Edmonton Exchanger pledged $1,000 to every employee on The Little Exchangers team who took the plunge. Our president, Tim Gusse also pledged to dive alongside a minimum of 20 employees who committed to participate in this event. Congratulations to Tim, and to all of the participants of The Little Exchangers team!
